Shared Habits Of Super Healthy People

Do you know someone who appears to be super-healthy, full of energy and overdosing on enthusiasm in every aspect of their life, while you sit at your desk trying not to fall asleep sipping on your eighth cup of coffee of the day?

What’s their secret? Why do they hardly ever get sick, yet you seem to catch a cold every other month? And how is climbing ten flights of stairs a breeze for them, while you wheeze after two?

Below you’ll discover exactly what habits help make these super healthy people so, well…healthy and you can then try to take these on board, because they really aren’t that difficult to maintain:

Water Is Their Best Friend

One thing you will always notice about super healthy people is the fact they are never far away from a bottle of water and that it is usually their number one drink of choice. Water has numerous health benefits, not only does it make skin look great, but it also helps to release toxins from the body, reduce fatigue, fuel muscles, help with digestive problems and aid with weight loss.

They Don’t Smoke

A person who smokes will never be super healthy but quitting can be incredibly difficult. However, a fantastic product known as the eCig has been released to make it easier to say no. Using liquid to create vapour, eCigs have helped many people kick the habit. One of the main reasons for this is the variety of different flavours available. If you look at the ranges from Phoenix Eliquid, for example, you will discover lots of delicious sounding flavours out there, that taste so much better than tobacco.

They Drink Alcohol In Moderation

Another habit shared by the super healthy is the fact they rarely drink alcohol. They aren’t against a drink every now and again, but you won’t find them knocking back half a whole bottle of wine after work every other evening.

They Get A Lot Of Sleep

Lack of sleep is a sure-fire way to look less than flattering. Not only does it make you look unhealthy, it makes you feel unhealthy too. Lack of sleep has been linked to weight gain, depression, a weakened immune system and heart disease, so the super healthy individuals out there will have a set routine they stick to when it comes to sleep.

They Exercise Regularly

Super healthy people are usually fitness fanatics. They exercise where they can and whenever they can. Often this means getting up a little earlier to go for a run or head to the gym before work, whilst you’re probably hitting the snooze button until the very last minute. They also don’t make excuses, ever. The key to getting healthy is to get up and get moving so make sure you work your heart rate as this will really help to boost your cardiovascular system.

They Surround Themselves With Motivation

The number one way to get super healthy is to motivate yourself. This is the problem most people face when trying to make lifestyle changes because it is simply too hard to stay motivated sometimes.

However, super healthy people are smart and they surround themselves with whatever it is that keeps them motivated; whether it’s a Pinterest board, a picture on their phone’s lock screen or an app that reminds them to exercise. Take inspiration from this idea; discover what works for you as motivation and then focus on that, every single day.
