    The starvation mode one gets me everytime. Im always suggesting trying intermittent fasting with my clients and they inform me that after 8 hours or so ‘the body’ goes into ‘starvation mode’.

    Ill send them to this.

    I know what you mean John. Once a myth has become ingrained in someone’s head, it’s very difficult convincing them otherwise. I hope this helps convince your clients :).

    I heard running on an empty stomach after you have woken up in the morning boost your metabolism, have you guys heard of this one before?

    Hi Derick – I’ve found that meal timing doesn’t actually make too much of a difference when it comes to metabolism. So if you prefer running first thing do that but it’s not essential.
